Early one morning at about two a.m. I was writing down some ideas for another book as part of our Mister C series; you may have read one or a few of our books, or none at all yet. When referring to these books, I like to use the plural our, as my zany son Carter, affectionately known as Mister C, is an integral part of our storybook adventures. Mister C is an early nickname that has since stuck like glue. Mister C was also lovingly called Baby C when tiny! Without Mister C's often madcap words, I would not be able to write and illustrate such meaningful and honest tales.
This little book of stories (part one) is the fifth children's book we have published. This book is essentially the very foundation of all of the stories written (if that makes any sense?). These stories gave me the original ideas for each book, even those not written yet! I devote this book to Mister C ─ even though he drives us up the wall some days, without him in our lives, life would no doubt be a little plain. All children are very unique and have such a wonderful innocence to their words. We hope you enjoy these stories (they are some of our favourite), without children, the world would be a quiet place indeed…
